It was formerly known as GECG(Government Engineering College Gandhinagar), now its Vishwakarma Government Engineering College. IIT has opened its branch in this college’s campus where short term courses can be availed. And yes from the same college I completed my graduation!

Nirma University
Nirma, the well known university for BE/BTech, MCA, MCA, MTech etc. Many years back there were not enough colleges/university near Ahmedabad, but now days there are many of them can be found. However they are all a business of money now-days!
