ગૌરી વ્રત તેમ જ જયા પાર્વતીના વ્રત માટે ના જવારા

વરસાદ ની શરૂઆત સાથેજ ઘણા તહેવાર ની શરૂઆત થઇ જાય છે. અષાઢ માસ માં કુમારીકાઓ દ્વારા ઉજવાતા ગૌરી વ્રત અને જયા પાર્વતી વ્રત એ શિવ-પાર્વતીજીની પૂજા-અર્ચનાનું વ્રત છે. અષાઢ સુદ તેરસથી શરુ થતા આ વ્રત અષાઢ વદ ત્રીજ સુધી ઉજવાય છે. વ્રત ના અંત માં આખી રાતનું જાગરણ કરી કુમારીકાઓ વ્રત નું સમાપન કરે છે. પ્રસ્તુત ચિત્ર માં આ વ્રત ની પૂજા માટે મહત્વ ના જવારા બજાર માં વહેચતા જોઈ શકાય છે, જોકે હજુ પણ ઘણા લોકો આ જવારા ઘરે જ ઉગાડે છે.
