માતાજી નો ગબ્બર!!

દર વર્ષ ની જેમ આ વર્ષે પણ નવરાત્રી નો ઉલ્લાસ દરેક શેરીઓ માં અને ગલીઓ માં જોઈ શકાય છે. માં ના ગબ્બર નું મહત્વ હજુ અંકબંધ છે, અલગ અલગ કલાકૃતિ અને મોર્ડન ટચ આપી ને બનાવેલા ગબ્બર ની બોલબાલા વધી રહી છે પણ તોયે માતાજી નો ગબ્બર બનાવવાની અને સજાવવાની પરંપરા જળવાઈ રહી છે.

Law-Garden area is famous for Chaniya-choli and Kediya (traditional dresses). As Navaratri is near, this place can be seen crowded with buyers. And this place is also famous for bargaining, unbelievable bargaining may happen here.

As Navaratri is near everyone has prepared themselves to indulge in full of fun days and nights. This nine day long auspicious festival brings plentiful of fun. Every streets, malls, shops and even few of offices are decorated to enjoy this festival even more. These guys are decorating a restaurant with beautiful art related to Navaratri.

આનંદ નો ગરબો – A ritual folk dance

A ritual folk dance performed by ladies. Garba is well known folk dance of Gujarat. Its mainly performed on navaratri – a festival of dance : nava meaning nine and ratri meaning nights. During these nine nights and ten days, nine forms of Shakti/Devi are worshipped. The shown dance is not related to navaratri, but devi is worshipped through this ritual dance.
